How high should windows be in deer stand?
At 36" the window sill provides a great rest for your rifle. This blind (as well as most all of our blinds) is set up for about a 100 yard shot to where we expect to see deer. With a comfortable rest on the window sill we have experienced one-shot DRT kills 99% of the time. via
How do you seal deer blind windows?
Use 2-inch wood screws through from the outside of the blind, through the wall and into the frame to secure it. Caulk the frame to the wall from the inside to seal it. Cut a piece of plexiglass that is slightly larger than the window opening. The plexiglass should overlap the frame by about 1/2-inch on each side. via
